New This Month
You’re the Best!
We’d like to take this time to thank all of our great volunteers for
their dedication to The Center. Without you we would not be able to
offer so many wonderful programs to our West Seattle community. If
you have volunteered in any way, you are invited to partake of our
Volunteer Appreciation Event on Tuesday, October 7 starting at 3:00
pm. Be sure and make your reservation by calling 932-4044 x1.
Let us transport you to Spain!
Every year one of our most popular fundraising events is the Paella
Dinner. This year it takes place on Thursday, September 11 starting at
6pm with tapas, dinner and entertainment. Chef Jim Yragui, along with
Ann-Marie Murray, will once again prepare this tasty meal followed by
entertainment by The Flamenco Luz Dancers! $20 in advance/$25 at
the door. Make your reservations early by calling 932-4044 x1 or
online at www.sc-ws.org.
It ain’t your mama’s Tupperware party!
We are bringing you the world of Tupperware as seen through the
eyes of the fabulous Sylvia O’Stayformore! (See Page 4) Pick up your
catalog at the front desk and join us on Friday, September 19; proceeds
from the sales go directly to The Center. Tell your friends, tell your
cousins, tell your mama! Tickets for Center members are $15 in

of wine. Let’s make this the biggest Tupperware party ever and great
fundraiser for the Senior Center of West Seattle! Call 932-4044 x1 or
